Greetings,
This box isn't one of mine, but I did find it last
fall. The box was an old Chinese takeout tin (the kind
with the metal bottom and clear plastic top), and some
local critters took a liking to it. The box was full
of water when we found it, and the logbook proved
beyond saving. The original owner is MIA.
I was planning to replant it, but in a different
location. The early onset of winter, coupled with the
fact that the box is on federal property (tracks in
the snow leading to it would not be advisable), has
prevented me from replanting it.
We're currently on vacation in Louisianna, and hope
that, by the time we make it back next week, the snow
cover will be mostly gone, and this box is high on the
priority list.

We are sure we located the proper "grand tree", but in the hollow there was
no box, just a couple of pieces of sticks that might have been used to conceal
the LB.
Anybody find this one recently?
